1. Fitches Crossing Marker
Inscription.  Built in 1870 by James Frazier & James Warren, it originally spanned the Delaware at Kingston Street in Delhi. Replaced by an iron bridge in 1885, it was moved by David Wright and a town crew to this site known as Fitches Crossing. The scissors-truss construction was commonly used in covered bridges of intermediate span.
 
Location. 42° 17.885′ N, 74° 52.738′ W. Marker is near Delhi, New York, in Delaware County. Marker is at the intersection of Fitches Bridge Road and Delhi-South Kortright Road (County Route 18), on the right when traveling north on Fitches Bridge Road.
