1. Welcome to the Fort Recovery Battlefield Walking Tour Marker
• Welcome to the Fort Recovery Battlefield Walking Tour! The tour is approximately 1.5 miles and will help you understand the Battle of the Wabash (1791) and the Battle of Fort Recovery (1794). Tours are self-guided. For additional information on the battles, please visit the Fort Recovery Museum.
• The Fort Recovery Battlefield Walking Tour highlights 15 wayside exhibits. Existing interpretive signage and historical sites are also included on the tour.
• Special Regulations: This is a historic battlefield site. No digging or metal detecting is allowed without landowner permission.
• For your safety and enjoyment: The walking tour weaves through the community. Please watch for traffic and obey all traffic laws.
