Inscription. Born Pompton, N.J. March 29, 1729 died Caughnawaga, N.Y., October 22,1794. Served as first stated pastor of the Caughnawaga Church from 1771 to 1794. Buried under the church.
 
Erected 1936 by State Education Department, Reformed Church of Fonda.
