1. Montgomery County Korean War Veterans Monument
Inscription. We, the Montgomery County Veterans of the Korean War, along with our friends and neighbors, erect the memorial in memory of our fellow comrades who gave their lives during the Korean War June 25, 1950 to July 27, 1953.

With temperatures of -30° to +90°, this difficult and untimely war was fought from flat wetlands to mountain peaks and valleys in three years. The American and United Nations forces suffered combined casualties of 142,000, Korean people 1 million.

We will never forget our comrades killed in action.
