Location. 34° 55.681′ N, 85° 14.04′ W. Marker is near Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, in Catoosa County. Marker can be reached from Brotherton Road west of Jays Mill Road, on the right. This marker is located in the National Military Park that preserves the site of the Chickamauga Battlefield, and is situated along a secondary park walking trail that runs north from the Brotherton Road. This secondary trail can be reached from both a primary park walking trail or a walking trail (not marked on the Chickamauga Battlefield Map) directly off of the Brotherton Road. According to the location information provided by the National Park Service, “This monument is located on the Chickamauga Battlefield at map site #85". Touch for map.
