Ninguna persona podrá hacerse justicia por si misma, ni ejercer violencia para reclamar su derecho.
Toda persona tiene derecho a que se le administre justicia por tribunales que estarán expeditos para impartirla en los plazos y terminos que fijen las leyes, emitiendo sus resoluciones de manera pronta, completa e imparcial, su servicio será gratuito, quedando en consecuencia, prohibidas las costas judiciales.
Las leyes federales y locales establecerán los medios necesarios para que se garantice la independencia de los tribunales y la plena ejecución de sus resoluciones.
Nadie puede ser aprisionado por deudas de carácter puramente civil.

Article 17
Noone can take justice into their own hands, nor to exercise violence to enforce his rights.
All people have the right to enjoy justice before the courts and under the terms and conditions set forth by the laws. The courts shall issue their rulings in a prompt, complete and impartial manner. The services of the court shall be free and judicial fees are prohibited.
Federal and local laws shall provide the necessary means to guarantee the independence of the courts and the full enforcement of their rulings.
No one can be imprisoned in reason of exclusively civil debts.
