English:
The second train station for Montebello was built in 1931 with surplus of logs coming in by train from Western United States, which had been used to build the Château Montebello the year before.

The station was the meeting point for celebrities waiting to go to the Château, which was known at the time as « Seigniory Club Community Association Limited » (Seigniory Club) and it was also an important meeting point for the people of Montebello who would go to see the train daily. Built just a few thousand feet away from the place where it now sits, the station stayed in service up until September 1981 when Canadian Pacific stopped its Montreal-Ottawa rail link.

The station was up for sale but couldn't find any buyers with the conditions that Canadian Pacific had put on it. The company ran out of patience so decided to burn the station for security reasons!

So the people of Montebello and the region decided to form the "Corporation of Montebello train station" which acquired the station and moved it to where it stands today.

In August 1989, the station which was 110 feet long by 42 feet wide and weighed
