1. Kane House Marker

Replacement Marker.

Inscription. Tom Kane was born in Coloma of his Irish parents in 1855. He built this house for his bride, Julia, in 1886. He died 5 years later, and Julia lived here for many years afterward. In 1934 Ralph Hikens owned the house and operated a store and post office in one of the rooms.
