Erected 1926 by Elizabeth Benton Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Location. 39° 3.183′ N, 94° 35.492′ W. Marker is in Kansas City, Missouri, in Jackson County. Full photo of marker. This marker is right on the corner with an open air restaurant right behind it.
There are markers on all four corners of this intersection. This pink granite marker is located on the northeast corner along with the start of the Battle of Westport Tour marker.
