1. The Blue Ridge Tollway Marker
Inscription. Opened May, 1975
Built near a wooded section of the park once known as Shady Grove, guests could walk through the woods and watch these 4/5 scale replicas of classic automobiles.
The cars are modeled after 1917 Model T Fords.
The top speed is about 6 miles per hour.
The cars cost about $4,400 each in 1974.
