First position in line of battle April 6, 1862, was in rear of Prentiss, at Hornets' Nest.

Location. 35° 9.003′ N, 88° 19.277′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is on Pittsburg Landing Road, on the right when traveling east. Touch for map.
