2. St. Peterís by the Sea
Marker is located to the right of the front door of this gingerbread-adorned church. The stick-style architecture building was purchased from the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition of 1876 and moved to Cape May around 1880. It was later relocated to its present location and has held summer services ever since. The belfry and entranceway were added after the move to Cape May.
