The marker is located on the Ostrovní side of the Cafe Restaurant Becher, mounted at the second story level.The restaurant is just across the street from the National Theatre.

After the National Theatre burned down in 1881, Hynais painted this, his best known work, in 1883 to outfit the new National Theatre.
