This Regiment, attached temporarily to Rousseau's Brigade, Army of the Ohio, was engaged here from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. April 7, 1862.

Location. 35° 8.3′ N, 88° 20.366′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is on Corinth-Pittsburg Landing Road, on the right when traveling west. Touch for map. Located near stop three, the Hornet's Nest, on the driving tour of Shiloh National Battlefield, on the edge of Duncan Field.
