1. Brethren's House Marker
Inscription.
Built 1748 by Moravians as house for single men. Early industry center: bell foundry, silkworm culture, other crafts and trades. Military hospital in Revolution. Girls' school from 1815. Now part of Moravian College and a museum.
 
Erected 1964 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
 
Location. 40° 37.125′ N, 75° 22.919′ W. Marker is in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in Northampton County. Marker is at the intersection of Church Street and Main Street, on the left when traveling west on Church Street. Touch for map.
