Inscription.
About 20,000 years ago this pink granite boulder was brought from Canada by the Wisconsin Glacier and deposited near here, along the Great Miami River.
 
Erected 1985 by Middletown Historical Society.
 
Location. 39° 31.356′ N, 84° 23.728′ W. Marker is in Middletown, Ohio, in Butler County. Marker is at the intersection of Verity Parkway (Ohio Route 4/73) and Main Street / Tytus Avenue, on the left when traveling north on Verity Parkway. Touch for map. Marker is adjacent to the Canal Museum. Marker is at or near this postal address: 1605 N. Verity Parkway, Middletown OH 45042, United States of America.
