Location. 40° 51.408′ N, 84° 20.433′ W. Marker is in Delphos, Ohio, in Van Wert County. Marker is on North Main Street, 0.2 miles south of Gessner Road. This historical marker is located along the west side of the Miami and Erie Canal which runs parallel along the west side of the road. The historical marker is right next to canal lock #24. There is a recreational field just southwest of this historical marker and what looks like a water treatment plant to the northwest of the marker. Touch for map.
