1. From this Point on May 23, 1774 Marker
Inscription. From this point on May 23, 1774, a group of Chestertown citizens, undisguised and in broad daylight boarded the brigantine Geddes and threw its cargo of tea into the Chester River.
 
Erected by Daughters of the American Revolution.
