1. Hart's Mill Marker
Inscription. Grist mill. Site of key Regulator meeting, 1766, and skirmish in 1781 that boosted the Patriot cause. Stood 1/5 mile N.
 
Erected 2006 by North Carolina Office of Archives and History. (Marker Number G-122.)
 
Location. 36° 4.996′ N, 79° 8.506′ W. Marker is in Efland, North Carolina, in Orange County. Marker is on U.S. 70 0.7 miles west of West Hill Ave, on the right when traveling west. Touch for map. Marker is in this post office area: Efland NC 27243, United States of America.
