1. C-7 "Caribou" Marker
Inscription.

First flown by the Army in the 1960s,
the C-7 was used to provide logistic
support, particularly in Vietnam. Used
to support airborne training through
the 1970s. This aircraft was used by
the U.S. Army Parachute Demonstration
Team, the Golden Knights.

 
Erected by 82nd Airborne Division Museum.
 
Location. 35° 7.823′ N, 79° 1.308′ W. Marker is in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in Cumberland County. Touch for map. Marker and airplane are on display about 225 feet east of the 82d Airborne Division Museum, Building C-6841, off Ardennes Street near Gela Street. Access is restricted due to Fort Bragg being an active military installation. Marker is in this post office area: Fort Bragg NC 28310, United States of America.
