Inscription. Florham 1893-1955 Country estate of Hamilton and Florence Vanderbilt Twombly. Grounds designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Son. Buildings designed by McKim, Mead and White. Acquired by Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1958
