1. Jackson's Mother Marker
Inscription. In Westlake Cemetery is the grave of the mother of General Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson. The monument at the grave was placed by Captain Thomas Ranson, who had fought in Jackson's old brigade in the War between the States.
 
Erected by State of West Virginia.
 
Location. 38° 8.165′ N, 81° 5.952′ W. Marker is in Ansted, West Virginia, in Fayette County. Marker is at the intersection of East Main Street (U.S. 60) and Cemetery Street, on the left when traveling west on East Main Street. Touch for map.
