1. Seven Days Battles - White Oak Swamp marker
Inscription. On a hill just to the west Stonewall Jackson placed his artillery about midday on June 30, 1862. An artillery duel then began with Franklin, guarding the south side of White Oak Swamp, that lasted until dark.
 
Erected 1932 by Conservation & Development Commission. (Marker Number PA--148.)
 
Location. 37° 28.468′ N, 77° 12.779′ W. Marker is near Sandston, Virginia, in Henrico County. Marker is on Elko Road (County Route 156), on the right. Touch for map. Marker is in this post office area: Sandston VA 23150, United States of America.
