1. Mason - Dixon Line Marker
Inscription. The historic boundary between Pennsylvania and Maryland was surveyed, 1763-1767, by Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon to settle border disputes between the two Provinces. This section of the Mason-Dixon Line was first surveyed June 26, 1765.
 
Erected 1970 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
 
Location. 39° 43.27′ N, 76° 20.594′ W. Marker is near Delta, Pennsylvania, in York County. Marker is on MD 165 & PA 74 0.2 miles north of Dooley Road, on the right when traveling north. Touch for map. Marker is in this post office area: Delta PA 17314, United States of America.
