Maney's Battery
This battery of four pieces occupied this position throughout the operations around Fort Donelson, engaging the Federal artillery at various times.

On February 13, 1862, assaulted by Morrison's Brigade, the battery did effective work in repelling the attack.

On February 14, anticipating another attack, one section of the battery moved down the hill and covered the approaches along the valley.

On February 15, the battery assisted in the attack on the Federal lines.
