This regiment, attached temporarily to Col. Marsh's command, was in position here at 9 a.m. April 7, 1862.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 154.)
 
Location. 35° 8.8′ N, 88° 20.369′ W. Marker is in Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is on Cavalry Road 0.4 miles west of Hamburg-Savannah Road, on the right when traveling west. Touch for map. 100 yards north of Cavalry Road in woods on eastern edge of Cavalry Field. Just east of 4th Illinois Cavalry camp marker, in Shiloh National Military Park. Marker is in this post office area: Shiloh TN 38376, United States of America.
