This battery, with 24 pdr. Howitzers, was engaged here from 2 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. April 6, 1862.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 49.)
 
Location. 35° 8.876′ N, 88° 20.884′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is at the intersection of Cavalry Road and Sherman Road, on the right when traveling west on Cavalry Road. Touch for map. 200 yards north of intersection, on west side of Jones Field, in Shiloh National Military Park. Marker is in this post office area: Shiloh TN 38376, United States of America.
