"D" 2d Ill. Lt. Art., McClernand's (1st) Div.,
Army of the Tennessee.

This battery, with two guns, was engaged here from 11.30 A.M. to 2 P.M. April 6, 1862. It retired to left of siege guns.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 46.)
 
Location. 35° 8.759′ N, 88° 20.87′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is on Sherman Road 0.1 miles south of Cavalry Road, on the right when traveling south. Touch for map.
