These regiments were engaged here about 10.30 A.M. April 7, 1862. The 7th Ark. was supporting battery.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 422.)
 
Location. 35° 8.741′ N, 88° 20.838′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker can be reached from the intersection of Sherman Road and Cavalry Road, on the left. Touch for map. 150 yards SW of intersection, in trees at south edge of Jones Field, in Shiloh National Military Park. Marker is in this post office area: Shiloh TN 38376, United States of America.
