1. Manokin Presbyterian Church Marker
Inscription. One of five churches organized by the Rev. Francis Makemie in 1683. First preaching on this ground, 1672. Original church constructed prior to 1692. Present walls erected 1765. Tower added 1888.
 
Erected by Maryland Historical Society.
 
Location. 38° 12.437′ N, 75° 41.678′ W. Marker is in Princess Anne, Maryland, in Somerset County. Marker is at the intersection of Somerset Avenue (Maryland Route 675) and Fluers Lane, on the right when traveling south on Somerset Avenue. Touch for map.
