6th Ind., 1st Ohio, Batts. 19th, 15th, and 16th U.S.I., 5th Kentucky,
McCook's (2d) Division.

This brigade, with its regiments in order as above, was engaged at this place at 12 M. April 7, 1862 and was here relieved by Kirk's Brigade.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 280.)
 
Location. 35° 8.331′ N, 88° 20.919′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker can be reached from Sherman Road ¼ mile north of Hamburg-Purdy Road, on the left when traveling south. Touch for map. 0.1 mile east of road in trees at east edge of Woolf Field, in Shiloh National Military Park. Marker is in this post office area: Shiloh TN 38376, United States of America.
