The present Monroe County courthouse was built in 1978-1979.
is on South Main Street (State Highway 100) near West 3rd Street, on the right when traveling north. Touch for map. Located in the Monroe County courthouse lawn. Located on the back side of the World War I marker. Marker is in this post office area: Tompkinsville KY 42167, United States of America.
