1. Stephen C. Foster Memorial Marker
Inscription. Tribute to Pittsburgh's beloved writer of songs and ballads, including “Oh Suzanna,” “Old Folks at Home,” and “My Old Kentucky Home.” Born in 1826 and died in 1864.
 
Erected 1958 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
 
Location. 40° 26.613′ N, 79° 57.162′ W. Marker is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in Allegheny County. Marker can be reached from the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Schenley Drive Extension, on the left when traveling east. Touch for map. Located near the Stephen Foster Memorial on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh at the Cathedral of Learning.
