4th Ky., 6th Ky., 31st Ala., 5th Ky., 4th Ala. Battl., Crew's Tenn. Battl., 3d Ky.,
Breckinridge's Corps.

This brigade was engaged here until 10.30 a.m. April 7, 1862. It fell back to left rear and later to Shiloh Church.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 454.)
 
Location. 35° 8.317′ N, 88° 20.517′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is on Corinth Road 0.4 miles west of Corinth-Pittsburg Road, on the right when traveling west. Touch for map. 80 yards north of road at western edge of Duncan Field. Marker is in this post office area: Shiloh TN 38376, United States of America.
