Marker is at the intersection of East Main Street (U.S. 44) and Granite Avenue, on the right when traveling west on East Main Street. The statue is "The Spirit of the American Doughboy", a World War I infantryman advancing through the stumps and barbed wire of No Man’s Land. He holds a rifle in one hand and a grenade in the other.
