17th Ala., 18th Ala., 19th Ala., 2d Texas,
Withers' (2d) Div., Bragg's Corps,
Army of the Mississippi.

This brigade was engaged here from about 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., April 6, 1862, and then advanced to camp of 28th Ill.
 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 405.)
 
Location. 35° 8′ N, 88° 19.75′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker can be reached from Hamburg-Savannah Road ¾ mile south of Corinth Road, on the left when traveling south. Touch for map. 250 yards east of road on a path starting opposite Bloody Pond. Marker is in this post office area: Shiloh TN 38376, United States of America.
