Chalmers' (2d) Brigade,
9th Miss., 7th Miss., 5th Miss., 10th Miss.,
Withers' (2d) Div., Bragg's Corps,
Army of the Mississippi.

The above named regiments, and two companies of the 52d Tenn., in order from left to right as above, attacked the enemy from this position at 11 a.m., April 6, 1862.

Location. 35° 7.4′ N, 88° 19.233′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is on Hamburg-Savannah Road (Bowden Lane) half a mile south of Hamburg-Purdy Road, on the left when traveling south. Touch for map. Outside the main park area. The marker is on top of a 5-foot bank next to the road. Marker is in this post office area: Shiloh TN 38376, United States of America.
