1. Civil War Monument
Inscription. Bristol’s original Civil War monument was dedicated on January 20, 1866, and stands in the West Cemetery. The ravages of time are slowly destroying the soldier’s names that appear on its weathered brownstone. To insure they are not forgotten, this new monument is dedicated to their memory.

In memory of the men from Bristol who gave up their lives to preserve the Union.
