Location. 41° 31.341′ N, 73° 53.36′ W. Marker is in Fishkill, New York, in Dutchess County. Marker is at the intersection of U.S. 9 and Interstate 84, on the right when traveling north on U.S. 9. Touch for map. Marker is at the site of the Van Wyck Homestead Museum. Marker is in this post office area: Fishkill NY 12524, United States of America.

3. Van Wyck House
This house, located within sight of the marker, was built in the 1730s by Cornelius Van Wyck. During the Revolutionary War, 2000 troops were stationed at a depot located here.
