1. Cleveland Cottage and Deer Park Hotel Marker
Inscription. (1 mile south.) The hotel was built by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, opened July 4, 1873, and operated until 1829. Dismantled 1942. President and Mrs. Grover Cleveland spent their honeymoon at the cottage in June, 1886.
 
Erected by the Maryland Historical Society.
 
Location. 39° 25.412′ N, 79° 20.276′ W. Marker is in Deer Park, Maryland, in Garrett County. Marker is on Maryland Highway (Maryland Route 135) west of Deer Park Hotel Road, on the right when traveling east. Touch for map.
