1. Cardiff Hill Marker
Inscription. This is the foot of Cardiff Hill, made famous in Mark Twain's books "Tom Sawyer" and "Huckleberry Finn." On the hill, Tom, Huck, and their gang played and roamed at will.
 
Erected 1934 by Mark Twain Museum.
 
Location. 39° 42.78′ N, 91° 21.48′ W. Marker is in Hannibal, Missouri, in Marion County. Marker is at the intersection of North Street and N. Main Street, on the left when traveling east on North Street. Touch for map. Marker is in this post office area: Hannibal MO 63401, United States of America.
