1. Providence Baptist Church Marker
Inscription. This is the oldest Baptist Church in Beaver County, organized November 14, 1801. Elder Henry Spear, a Baptist preacher, delivered the first sermon in the log cabin home of brother Ezekiel Jones and his wife Hannah. Twenty-one pioneer folk attended.
