Location. 43° 5.357′ N, 79° 5.74′ W. Marker is in Niagara Falls, Ontario, in Niagara Region. Memorial is on Lundy's Lane, 0 kilometers south of Hanan Avenue, on the right when traveling east. This historical marker is located in the Drummond Hill Cemetery which is situated off of Lundy's Lane near the intersection with Drummond Road. However it is best reached by driving to the end of Buchner Place (off Drummond Road) and parking your vehicle in the parking lot and then walking north along the western boundary of the cemetery until you locate the historic marker, near the northwest corner of the cemetery. More about this monument. The Soldier's Monument is situated on the high ground in the cemetery which is where the Battle of Lundy's Lane was fought. The Soldier's Monument was originally erected by the Canadian Parliament in 1895 and marks the remains of 22 soldiers whose remains are buried in the vault below it. Three bronze plaques bearing the names of those killed in the battle were later added to the monument in 1938.
