On June 11, 12, 13, 1976,
Scouts and their Leaders from the
Dan Beard Council Miami Valley Council
Mound Builders Council Shawnee Council
Tecumseh Council
gathered on this site to commemorate
the Bicentennial anniversary
of the signing of our nation's
Declaration of Independence
and to dedicate themselves to the
preservation of liberty and freedom
for those generations of Americans
yet to come.
