The plaque is mounted to the right of the central arcade entrance.
The building is not listed individually with the National Register of Historic Places, but rather as a Contributing Structure within the Downtown Haines City Commercial District, which was designated as a U.S. Historic District on March 7, 1994 (NRHP reference #94000150).

At the time of this page's submission to the database, the shopping arcade was home to several stores and offices.
