1. Isaac Charles Mishler Marker
Inscription. Lancaster native and Altoona businessman and promoter. Built and managed theaters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In 1906, he built the opulent Mishler Theater here for stage shows, musical performances, live theater, and vaudeville.
 
Erected 2003 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
 
Location. 40° 30.968′ N, 78° 24.121′ W. Marker is in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in Blair County. Marker is on 12th Avenue east of 13th Street, on the left when traveling east. Touch for map. Located at southwest corner of the Mishler Theater. Marker is in this post office area: Altoona PA 16601, United States of America.
