1. Lemon House Marker
Inscription. Built in 1830 by Samuel Lemon. Standing at head of Plane Number 6 of Allegheny Portage Railroad, it served for many years as a station and as a resting place for travelers. House is visible 75 yards north of highway.
 
Erected 1958 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
 
Location. 40° 27.329′ N, 78° 33.15′ W. Marker is near Gallitzin, Pennsylvania, in Cambria County. Marker is on Admiral Peary Highway half a mile west of Healy Road, on the right when traveling west. Touch for map. Located at Allegheny Portage Railroad Historic Site on Old US 22. Marker is in this post office area: Gallitzin PA 16641, United States of America.
