1. Forbes Road Marker
Inscription. Depot of supplies assembling place of an army of nearly eight thousand men and the starting point of General John Forbes' Expedition for the possession of Fort Duquesne. The road leads Westward to the Forks.
 
Erected 1930 by The Pennsylvania Historical Commission.

Location. 40° 1.144′ N, 78° 30.235′ W. Marker is in Bedford, Pennsylvania, in Bedford County.
