Itís at the south end
of the park at an
elevation of 930 feet,
and is
the southern gateway
to the Hudson Highlands.

 
Location. 41° 19.108′ N, 73° 59.224′ W. Marker is in Bear Mountain, New York, in Rockland County. Marker can be reached from New York State Route 9 W, on the right when traveling north. Touch for map. Marker is located on a walking trail through the zoo at Bear Mountain State Park. Marker is in this post office area: Bear Mountain NY 10911, United States of America.
