Site of Foote Tavern 1807-13: U.S. Hospital 1813-14. Original House moved to Franklin Street 1892 and site used for Armory
 
Erected 1932 by State Education Department.
 
Location. 44° 50.914′ N, 74° 17.852′ W. Marker is in Malone, New York, in Franklin County. Marker is at the intersection of West Main St and Webster St, on the right when traveling east on West Main St. Touch for map.
